Join us here: https://t4communities.education/events/embedding-current-affairs-in-the-curriculum?instance_index=20240229T120000Z for a Spotlight session on Thursday, February 29th at 12.00 pm GMT, as we explore the integration of current affairs into the curriculum. Together we’ll discover innovative approaches and practical strategies to make learning relevant, engaging and connected to the world around us.
Our speaker for this session is Robert Poole, head of PSHE in a large UK secondary school and a qualified English and geography teacher. In addition, he is the editor of the journal Education for Tomorrow, was awarded the Ron Todd award for social justice and named a Big Issue Top 100 change maker.
Our Spotlights are packed with a warm welcome, introductions, content delivery and an interactive Q&A.
Make sure you save the date and come back when it’s time for the event to start (don’t worry, we’ll also send reminders and a notification when the session begins!).
As always, the Spotlight will be recorded and we’ll make a full summary available if you can’t make it live.
Do not miss out, every session is an opportunity to collaborate, learn and find solutions together!
This session promises to spark ideas and discussions on enhancing the educational experience. See you there!
