iLearn from NGO Osvitoria
iLearn is a free, nationwide Ukrainian online learning platform designed to support high school students in preparing for the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) and the formerly administered External Independent Evaluation (ZNO) — both critical university entrance exams in Ukraine.
Developed by the Ukrainian NGO Osvitoria, iLearn offers an inclusive digital learning environment for students from all regions and backgrounds, particularly those from rural, underserved, or economically disadvantaged communities. Since its launch in 2018, iLearn has become a trusted and essential educational resource, hosting 272,000+ registered learners.
The platform features live webinars conducted by top-tier Ukrainian teachers with proven exam success rates; on-demand video lessons across Ukrainian language and literature, mathematics, history of Ukraine, English, biology, and chemistry; interactive practice tests and a dedicated exam simulator based on official past NMT/ZNO questions; and supplementary resources like career orientation webinars and thematic online quests.
iLearn’s strength lies in its accessibility, adaptability, and credibility. The platform requires no fees, subscriptions, or special equipment. Learners can join live sessions or access recorded materials at their convenience via the website or YouTube channel (which alone has over 18.3 million views since 2018 and 141,000+ subscribers, and a silver button from YouTube).
The programme originated from a pilot project offering Skype-based tutoring to students in a rural orphanage, which resulted in several students being accepted into a leading Kyiv university on full scholarships. Inspired by that success, iLearn was scaled nationally, with support from partners such as Coca-Cola and Enactus, and has since gained recognition at the Enactus World Cup and through various UN education initiatives.
iLearn is uniquely positioned to close the equity gap in Ukraine’s education system. Amid the full-scale war and mass displacement, it has continued to operate and adapt — updating its content and structure to align with the evolving national curriculum and exam formats.
Above all, iLearn ensures that every student, regardless of social or geographic barriers, has access to quality exam preparation and the opportunity to pursue higher education.
