Serdar Ferit is a former filmmaker and teacher, turned founder, storyteller, and edtech CEO. He leads a team dedicated to bringing immersive, real-world stories into classrooms to nurture curiosity, compassion, and critical thinking in today’s complex world. Lyfta is used by more than 300,000 children and young people, helping them explore the world and find their place within it.

Before co-founding Lyfta, Serdar directed and produced documentary films and interactive stories that reached millions worldwide. His work has always centred on empathy, perspective, and belonging, values that now underpin his mission to make education more human, relevant, and connected.

As the Deputy Chief Operating Officer at INA Digital Edu, Kevin plays a pivotal role in supporting the COO to lead organizational operations and drive digital transformation across Indonesia’s education technology ecosystem.

His responsibilities include overseeing cross-functional operational strategies to improve platform performance, ensure service reliability, and align internal teams with the Ministry’s digital education goals.

Previously, Kevin led the Brand Marketing and Communications function at INA Digital Edu, where he developed and executed strategic initiatives that accelerated the adoption of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education’s technology platform. Under his leadership, the platform maintained active engagement with over 4 million teachers and 400,000 schools across the country.

Kevin’s career spans a diverse background in advertising, media, and social startups across Jakarta and Shanghai. He has worked with both public and private sector clients, including the Ministry of Tourism and the Jakarta Governor’s Office. In 2024, Kevin was part of the coordinating team behind the launch of INA, Indonesia’s Government Technology Agency. Collaborating with the Ministry of Bureaucratic Reform and the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, this initiative laid the groundwork for unifying government efforts in delivering inclusive, citizen-centered digital services.

Tetiana Tkachenko is an education projects manager and expert at Osvitoria, specializing in EdTech implementation and the digital transformation of education. She has a deep understanding of the learning process — from classroom teaching to system-level management — combining hands-on pedagogical experience with a strategic vision for advancing educational technologies.

At Osvitoria, Tetiana focuses on designing effective models of distance and blended learning, developing educational products, and integrating innovative tools into school practice. She actively contributes to national and international digital education initiatives, delivers trainings and webinars for teachers, creates original programs for digital skills development, and collaborates with international organizations in the education sector.

Tetiana also leads the distance learning and IT development direction at Novopecherska School, where she built a full-fledged distance learning model from scratch. She has extensive experience in teaching computer science, managing LMS platforms, leading educational teams, and supporting teachers in adopting modern digital solutions. Her work combines strategic thinking, practical expertise, and a strong personal commitment to improving education in Ukraine and worldwide.

Paul Atherton is a visionary entrepreneur known for founding impactful organisations that leverage technology to transform education. He founded Fab Inc. and AI-for-Education.org, both dedicated to improving educational systems through innovative technological solutions. These organisations work closely with governments to develop AI and data-driven systems that strengthen educational planning and delivery, ensuring that technology serves the needs of learners and educators in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Their work ranges from using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to optimise school locations and protect infrastructure from environmental challenges such as heat and flooding, to deploying tools that promote equitable access to quality teaching.

Under his leadership, AI-for-Education.org has built an open-source platform offering guidance, tools, and infrastructure for the global education community, while also advancing quality assurance in AI EdTech, including developing its own AI benchmarks, such as the Pedagogy Benchmark, which tests the capabilities of large language models (LLMs) on education tasks. The initiative has developed AI-based tools such as TheTeacher.AI in Sierra Leone — a WhatsApp chatbot providing 24/7 support for teachers in lesson planning and professional development — and a similar tool designed to assist school inspectors during visits. It has also invested in R&D solutions, most notably in Voice AI for assessments, given its strong potential to improve learning outcomes.

Daria manages Team4Tech’s programs with nonprofit and corporate partners. She brings over 15 years of experience leading education initiatives, building programs and partnerships, and developing data-informed strategies to address complex challenges.

Previously, Daria worked at the City University of New York as a Director overseeing citywide college access, workforce development, and STEM programs. Prior to that, Daria worked at the UN on high-profile global and regional initiatives, and at Global Kids in New York, leading EdTech programs.

Daria holds an M.A. in Education from Columbia University and a B.S. in Education from New York University.

Astha Jain has over a decade of experience at the intersection of technology, education and social impact. As Senior Manager – EdTech at Room to Read India, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the organisaƟon’s digital strategy and pioneering innovations to strengthen teaching-learning ecosystems nationwide.

She has led large scale transformative initiatives that have strengthened foundational literacy, life skills, and teacher capacity across multiple states. Notably, she spearheaded Pragaanti and FLN assessment and classroom observation solution that evolved from a pilot in a few schools to statewide adoption in UƩarakhand. Her work has centred on leveraging digital innovation— such as AI-driven solutions, gamification, and adaptive learning tools—to strengthen teaching- learning ecosystems and improve learning outcomes at scale. Her leadership has advanced plaƞorms like Literacy Cloud, expanding access to children’s literature for more than 120,000 users in India, while also guiding strategic partnerships with governments and organizations to ensure sustainable scale.

Deeply committed to equity in education, Astha believes in harnessing digital innovation to empower teachers, inspire learners, and transform classrooms in low-resource seƫngs. Her work exemplifies how technology can drive measurable impact and reimagine the future of learning for millions.

Akshay is an award winning social entrepreneur. He co-founded Avanti Fellows (www.avantifellows.org) in 2010 with the mission of creating equitable access to India’s top STEM professional colleges. Avanti runs India’s largest free test preparation program - reaching over 55,000 students in seven government school systems. >70% of Avanti’s students pursue technical education and >18% place into India’s top 5% STEM colleges.

For his work at Avanti, he was awarded the Schwab Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2024, IIT Bombay Young Alumni Achiever Award in 2023, Ashoka Fellowship, Draper Richards Kaplan Fellowship and Echoing Green Fellowship in 2012. Before Avanti, Akshay served on the founding team of HeartFlow, a venture-backed medical diagnostics company that raised over $600M from top venture funds. He also has prior work experience with the Boston Consulting Group, the World Food Programme and the International Save the Children Alliance. Akshay graduated from IIT Bombay in 2006 with a degree in Chemical Engineering and is on a leave of absence from the MBA program at the Harvard Business School.

She has been recognized among the Top 200 Women in EdTech by HolonIQ and as a leading edtech innovator by the Inter-American Development Bank.

Since founding VictoryXR in 2016, Grubbs has led the creation of immersive VR curricula and metaverse campuses for schools, colleges, and corporations, earning the 2021 Global Education Innovation Award. ARUKAY equips schools with 21st-century digital skills programs through a comprehensive solution that includes a learning platform, full curriculum and content, teacher training, and advanced reporting and analytics.

Marcelo is also the co-founder of PRISMAPAR, the leading M&A boutique in Latin America focused on the education sector. Prior to ARUKAY, he led the Latin American practice for The Parthenon Group, one of the world’s most recognized consulting firms in educational strategy, based in Boston.

TIney is currently the fourth largest provider of early years care and education in England.

Previously, he wrote the original business plan for Teach First and led the organisation for fifteen years, helping to build it into one of the UK’s leading movements to tackle education inequality and the largest graduate recruiter in the country. He is co-founder and was Deputy CEO and for 15 years on the board of Teach For All, which has brought the model to over 50 countries around the world. He was also appointed by HM the Queen for two terms as the non-executive Chairman of the UK's National Citizen Service, which at the time was the largest youth social action programme in Europe.. He is also a trustee & co-founder of the UK Fair Education Alliance and Bite Back 2030 aiming to reduce youth obesity. He received an OBE for services to education in 2012.
