The Top 30 shortlisted for the inaugural Global EdTech Prize revealed

At T4 Education we believe innovation in education lifts all of humanity. That’s why we launched the Global EdTech Prize this year with the support of Owl Ventures, Digital Promise, Rethink Education, xEdu, Injini, Founders Forum, EdLatam, and IAAE— recognising those trailblazing solutions that are driving change and grappling with the most crucial challenges in today’s classrooms.

Today, we’re proud to unveil the Top 30 shortlisted tools for the inaugural edition of the Prize. Celebrating EdTechs that are making a real difference to the next generation and championing innovative tech solutions that actually work for the people who matter most – educators, their students, and their communities.

From improving literacy and numeracy, to building lifelong skills, to creating more inclusive and equitable learning environments, each shortlisted EdTech is tackling a crucial challenge in education today.

The Global EdTech Prize is awarded across three categories: Majors, Non-Profits and Start-Ups.

Winners will be announced live on November 16, 2025, at the World Schools Summit in Abu Dhabi, where the Top 10 finalists in each category will present their work before an international Expert Panel, followed by a final vote by educators attending the summit.

“All of our shortlisted tools have one thing in common. They have harnessed technology in the service of education and they are making a difference. From enhancing literacy development to building lifelong skills, supporting social mobility, and closing learning gaps, the Global EdTech Prize measures not only innovation, but impact. By giving a global platform to these tools, we help scale that impact at a time when it has never been more needed.”
Vikas Pota, Founder of T4 Education and the Global EdTech Prize

This is just the beginning. By amplifying these tools on a global stage, we aim to help scale their impact when the world needs it most.
