Strong Schools, Strong Societies
The World’s Best School Prizes celebrate schools with an opportunity to recognise and share their achievements around the world.
We shine a spotlight on the most incredible and inspiring stories of success we see happening in schools and classrooms so they can inspire change around the world.
Potential. Purpose. Progress. New rules for schools.

What does being the best mean to you?
For us, schools that make the grade are the ones that make a difference.
They prepare for the future by shaping it – out in the world, not just inside an exam hall.
They show us what they can do by getting out there and doing it. They work sustainably, make whole families healthier and bring communities closer. They create a ripple of change that spreads from schools to society, making both stronger.
The best schools follow a new kind of rule book. And the world is all the better for it.
Because strong schools make strong societies.
Five Prizes as One
The World’s Best School Prizes are awarded to schools that have developed expertise in five key areas, that can prove and demonstrate outstanding systems, practises and performance that impact the lives of their students and of the whole community. The five winning schools will win an equal share of the $250,000 prize pool.
